Section 7, 28 for the security industry

For employment in the context of cash and valuables transport, nuclear power plants or the guarding of military properties, the successful completion of the commercial weapons examination is mandatory.
After completion of the course in accordance with section 7 of the German Armed Forces Act and passing the examination, the ability to carry handguns in the course of the security service is given.

Funding

Depending on the current situation and the number of persons involved, it is possible to receive appropriate funding and the associated reimbursement of costs in order to complete and prepare for the weapons examination. Depending on your situation, the costs could be covered by service providers, such as the Deutsche Rentenversicherung or the Employment Agency.
Regardless of this possible funding, you will still receive benefits from the Jobcenter or the Employment Agency. In addition, in some cases you benefit from a travel allowance or childcare coverage.
