Education Voucher:
The Federal Employment Agency awards education vouchers to unemployed, returnees and employees whose employment contract expires. Specifically, the target group includes recipients of unemployment benefit I/benefits according to SGB II (Hartz IV), the unemployed with completed vocational training or three years of professional experience, as well as employees, especially from small and medium-sized enterprises.
The aim of the education voucher is the return to the labour market, ie the reduction of skills deficits and the permanent professional integration. Whether funding is granted depends primarily on the development of the local labour market and the assessment of the Employment Agency as to what the placement opportunity after further training looks like.

Requirements
The prerequisite for an education voucher is an individual interview with the Employment Agency. Then the search for a suitable certified measure starts.
Amount of funding
The Employment Agency covers all costs for training, travel, accommodation and childcare with the education voucher.
How it works
- Get advice from the local employment agency. The education voucher issued there with educational goal, validity period of the voucher and region of the course proves that you meet the requirements and assures you the reimbursement of costs for the further education.
- Choose a suitable certified course and the Employment Agency will keep lists of funded courses available. The education voucher is valid for three months.
- The educational institution shall submit the confirmation of your admission to further training before the start of the relevant employment agency.
